Primary Liquid Gravity Tube Seal System
Mesa Liquid Gravity Tube Seals provide a primary rim seal for Floating Roof Storage Tanks and are especially suited for tanks with out-of-round, warped or irregular tank shells. Mesa Tube Seals feature a flexible design, which allows the seal system to fill in any gaps or irregularities in the rim space. This seal configuration contains two main components--Containment Tube and Scuff Band--manufactured using MesaThane laminated urethane seal material.
MesaThane Containment Tube
The Containment Tube is designed with MesaThane 6036
in a continuous length to seal the complete circumference
of the tank. It is filled with liquid during installation. The
Containment Tube provides the versatility of the Tube Seal
system allowing the seal to fill in gaps and irregularities in
the tank shell.
