Gas Holders are used to contain a range of gasses including sewage gases, digester, contaminated, irradiated, potable, and demineralized gasses; biogasses (CO2 and methane), hafnium, nitrogen, hydrogen, vinyl chloride monomer and other gasses.
"Dry Seal" Gas Holders are commonly installed when the volume of gas varies but a constant pressure is neccessary. The combination of metallic piston and Gas Holder Curtain contains the gasses as they flow into the holding tank. the gasses can then be drawn out of the tank at the required volume and pressure.
Mesa offers "Rolling Toroid" Curtain Seals for the Dry Seal Gas Holder system and standard Mesa Gas Holder Curtain designs. Gas holders are designed by Mesa engineers to accomodate each customers' individual tank dimensions and installation requirements, and other special circumstances.
